Cognitive Assessment FAQ
Preparing for a Cognitive Assessment

Cognitive Assessment is a painless, non-invasive assessment that can assist in the early detection of memory disorders and dementia-related diseases. The test is conducted on a desktop computer using MindstreamsTM advanced interactive software. A Cognitive Assessment is the first step in providing the physician with specific brain function information. With early detection, many cognitive function conditions can be effectively managed or treated.

Do you...
  • experience memory loss?
  • misplace things?
  • find yourself getting lost in familiar surroundings?
  • have difficulty learning and remembering names?
  • have problems with performance at work?
  • have problems finding the right words to say?
  • have a traumatic brain or head injury?
  • experience personality changes such as irritability or withdrawal?
  • suffer "whiplash" from a car accident?
If you answered "Yes" to any of the questions above, talk with your physician about having a Cognitive Assessment.
