Preparing for Sedation Imaging

Most patients experience some nervousness when undergoing a diagnostic test. For someone who is claustrophobic, the thought of having an MRI exam can cause extreme anxiety. This anxiety may be so extreme that it prevents the patient from receiving the necessary exam. Children and the elderly may not be able to physically stay still for the required length of an exam. For these patients, University MRI offers Sedation Imaging services. Sedation ensures the necessary tests can be completed while providing the patient a comfortable and pleasant experience.
